Pay:

$15.00 per Hour About Salute 2 Service Salute 2 Service , Inc. (S2S) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans, service members, military families, and first responders through programs, resources, emergency assistance, community partnerships, and volunteer initiatives. Our mission is to serve those who have served while strengthening the communities around them. Position Summary Salute 2 Service is seeking a motivated and community-minded Community Programs & Outreach Coordinator to assist with outreach efforts, volunteer engagement, partnership development, and program support. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, coordinating projects, engaging with the community, and helping make a meaningful impact in the lives of veterans and military families. Essential Duties Assist with community outreach and partnership development Coordinate volunteer recruitment and engagement activities Support fundraising events and community initiatives Assist with veteran and family resource referrals Maintain outreach and partnership records Support grant-related program activities and reporting requirements Assist with social media and community awareness efforts Attend community events, meetings, and networking opportunities as needed Collaborate with staff and volunteers to support organizational goals Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications Experience with nonprofit organizations, volunteer management, community outreach, or event coordination preferred Passion for supporting veterans, military families, and community service initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with veterans, military families, nonprofits, or community organizations Experience with volunteer coordination, fundraising events, or community engagement Social media and marketing experience is a plus What S2
