DESCRIPTION:

This full-time staff position provides outreach and administrative support to the Executive Director and the agency's overall operations, ensuring the efficient execution of general office, fiscal, and direct services activities. This is a non-exempt position as defined in the Fair Labor Standards Act.

RESPONSIBILITIES

include, but are not limited to: Provides general administrative support to agency: Composes letters/correspondence when needed Answers the hotline and office phone, when needed during regular working hours, and provide crisis intervention, information and referrals to hotline callers Coordinates Public Awareness/primary prevention events in the

Coordinates donor information and communication, including database management and donor acknowledgements Researches donor prospects Coordinates donor recognition activities throughout the year Coordinates with Executive Assistant and Executive Director on grant and foundation opportunities and follow up reporting for foundations.

QUALIFICATIONS

include but are not limited to: High school diploma or Associates' Degree preferred, preferably in communications or a related field. Ability to deal with crisis and confrontation in a professional, positive, and effective manner required. Commitment to the program philosophy of the agency required. Experience in event coordination. Ability to manage time effectively, establish priorities and function both independently and as a team member required. Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and ability to travel within the county required. Acts 151/34 Certifiable and FBI background check required. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Knowledge of issues and dynamics of domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, child sexual abuse and incest desired.
