The Coordinator builds relationships within the service area, leads outreach and community engagement, and represents

in coordination with the City's Division of Housing and Community Development. Key Responsibilities Meet one-on-one with residents to assess their needs and connect them to appropriate GPASS departments and City services, including real estate tax assistance, mortgage help, foreclosure prevention, rental assistance, home repairs, weatherization, and eviction prevention. Plan and lead community meetings, service area briefings, and public outreach events within the NAC service area. Recruit, manage, and support the volunteer Neighborhood Advisory Sub-Committee (NAS), working closely with members on program direction and community initiatives. Develop and execute outreach strategies, including service area mapping, canvassing, and distribution of program materials. Organize and promote community activities such as neighborhood cleanups, public safety initiatives, and health fairs. Produce and distribute the

quarterly newsletter. Prepare monthly reports on program activities and foreclosure prevention outreach for GPASS and the City's DHCD. Maintain accurate records of resident contacts, referrals, and outcomes. Qualifications At least one year of experience in community engagement, outreach, social services, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust with diverse residents. Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple activities and deadlines independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work site and event sites. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends for community meetings and events. Bilingual ability (English plus Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, or another language spoken in the Olney/Logan community) is a plus but not required.
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
