PeerStar is seeking a motivated and outgoing Healthcare Marketer to support the growth of our community-based programs. This role is focused on building strong referral relationships in the field and increasing awareness of PeerStar's services across key provider and community networks. The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable networking, understands the behavioral health landscape, and can represent our organization professionally in a variety of settings. Candidates with lived experience in recovery or familiarity with peer-led care models are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, including: Physicians and primary care providers Psychiatrists and mental health clinicians Substance use disorder treatment providers Hospitals and outpatient behavioral health programs Local judicial systems (probation, courts, correctional facilities) Actively promote PeerStar's services and programs within the community Identify new referral opportunities and partnerships to drive program growth Conduct in-person visits, presentations, and follow-ups with potential partners Track outreach efforts and referral activity using CRM or tracking tools; provide regular reports on referral volume and key performance metrics Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth intake and onboarding of referred clients Represent PeerStar at community events, coalition meetings, and networking opportunities Qualifications Required Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively Comfortable with frequent local travel throughout the service region Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred 2-3 years of experience in healthcare marketing, community outreach, or business development Knowledge of behavioral health, substance use disorder, or social services Familiarity with peer support services or recovery-oriented care models Experience with CRM platforms or outreach tracking tools What We're Looking For Someone who is personable, persistent, and relationship-driven Ability to build trust with providers, community stakeholders, and partner organizations Strong follow-through, accountability, and professional presence A genuine commitment to expanding access to mental health and recovery services Benefits Performance-based bonus tied to lead generation metrics, including referral volume, conversion rates, and partnership growth targets Health Insurance Dental & Vision Insurance 401K with Match Paid Time Off Why PeerStar PeerStar is a mission-driven organization at the forefront of peer-led mental health and recovery services.
