Job Summary:
We are looking for a program leader to organize community education events and activities for the Ludeman Family Center for Women's Health Research. You will be tasked with planning and implementing multiple community programs to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as managing long-term goals for the Ludeman Center's community initiatives. You will be responsible for developing creative and engaging events, developing budgets and operating plans, and assisting with writing funding proposals and impact reports for community programs. You will be tasked with day-to-day coordination, support, execution, and evaluation of community events and endeavors at the Ludeman Center, and working collaboratively with speakers, researchers, faculty, community advisors, vendors, and team members of the Ludeman Center to implement programs. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience in event and program development, management, and execution, and donor relations.Key Responsibilities:
Programmatic duties (80%) include but are not limited to: Facilitating the development and execution of community events including: Annual Community Event (VIP reception, 800-person luncheon),Let's Talk:
Conversations about Women's Health (4/year), Youth Career Day (1-2/year), National Conference- Community Session (every other year), various Community and Corporate Education sessions (6-12/year), and an Annual Women's Health Symposium.
Work Location:
Hybrid- this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of three (3) days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in business, public administration, public health, accounting, finance, business administration, communications, liberal arts, business social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. At least three (3) years direct responsibility for leading events, meetings and convenings; event planning; donor relations; and faculty and/or speaker presentation coordination.Substitution:
A combination of education and experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship. Master's degree in business, public administration, public health, accounting, finance, business administration, communications, business social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. Experience working in an academic medical center and/or non-profit. Four (4) years of experience in donor management or community advisory boards.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Passionate and skilled in finding creative solutions and ideas to solve problems and delight audiences. Knowledge of, and ability to apply, accepted theories, practices, and principles of general management and administration. Ability to evaluate, analyze, and interpret data, recommend solutions, and implement the preferred course of action. Proven project management skills and ability to maintain a cooperative, supportive, and productive relationship with other members of the Ludeman Center staff, clients, partners, and university employees.
