Job Description

The Community Outreach Coordinator assists our team in increasing community outreach efforts and donor/volunteer commitments through local events and social media. This position focuses on meeting the needs of the children and families we serve by gathering feedback, providing opportunities for public education and resource sharing, and creating channels for transparency and accountability.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities. Creating and posting content on social media between 2 to 5 times a week Organizing marketing initiatives on social media that increase parents, students, volunteers, etc. Preparing an annual budget for community outreach activities. Nurturing new and old relationships with collaborative partners. Scheduling regular outreach exhibitions in the community and educating employees and volunteers on community responsibility. Preparing accurate records and reports on the goals of the fundraising plan. Overseeing a professional donor/volunteer management system.

Requirements:

Preferred experience of 3-5 years within non-profit fundraising or outreach activities. Outstanding written communication and presentation skills. Strong experience preparing reports. Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude. Strong knowledge of social media and other basic marketing platforms.

• Detail-orientated with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
