Community Outreach Specialist

Make a Difference in Your Community Moonlight Mountain Recovery & Mental Health is seeking a motivated, outgoing, and compassionate Community Outreach & Property Coordinator to help grow our presence throughout North Idaho while supporting individuals seeking recovery from substance use and mental health disorders. This unique position combines community relationship building, marketing, admissions support, and light property management. You'll work directly with the Director of Marketing to expand referral relationships, increase awareness of our treatment services, and help maintain our Lewiston recovery residence. Responsibilities Community Outreach & Marketing Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, behavioral health agencies, probation and parole offices, tribal organizations, schools, employers, and community partners. Represent Moonlight Mountain Recovery at networking events, health fairs, community meetings, and professional organizations. Conduct in-person ("boots on the ground") marketing throughout North Idaho and surrounding communities including Coeur d'Alene, Moscow, Clarkston, Pullman, Grangeville, Orofino, and other regional areas. Assist with phone outreach, email campaigns, and follow-up communication with referral partners. Promote Moonlight Mountain Recovery's services and develop new referral opportunities. Help increase admissions and maintain a healthy census for our Lewiston program. Admissions Support Communicate with prospective referral partners and community organizations. Coordinate with the Admissions Department regarding referrals and potential clients. Follow up with existing referral sources to maintain strong professional relationships. Track outreach activities and report progress to the Director of Marketing. Property & Facility Management Help oversee the daily appearance and readiness of the Lewiston property. Coordinate basic maintenance needs and communicate with vendors when necessary. Ensure the property remains clean, welcoming, safe, and ready for incoming clients. Assist with supply inventory and general organization of the facility. Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable speaking with professionals, community leaders, and referral partners. Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Strong time management and problem-solving abilities. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Willingness to travel throughout North Idaho and surrounding communities. Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, substance use treatment, marketing, sales, outreach, or customer service is preferred but not required.
