Community Partnered Research Coordinator Clinical and Translational Science Institute - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - ( 26005692 ) The focus of this job includes supporting community-partnered research efforts through the University of Pittsburgh Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI).

Job responsibilities include:
participant recruitment and management; completing Institutional Review Board protocols; using the REDCap database to create surveys; developing surveys; completing interviews; data cleaning; and supporting literature review and manuscript preparation. The job will also include working directly with community members and partners, through tabling events in the community, and helping researchers who are interested in community-partnered research. The ideal candidate would have experience both in community facing roles and conducting community-partnered research. This job does require some early evening and weekend hours, including attending community events. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required. Job Summary Coordinates high-level, protocol-related research procedures and study components and manages one study or assists with larger studies. Ensures the safety of the research and laboratory. Manages staff, audits studies, and recommends policy improvements. Essential Functions Ability to operate a PC and communicate effectively verbally and in written form with a various people. Telephone skills, computer and keyboard skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong organizational skills. Ability to be flexible in location assignment. Ability to participate in face to face or virtual meetings. Ability to connect with diverse groups of people. Physical Effort Position will require standing or sitting for work with reasonable mobility to navigate location site and clinical exam space. Ability to move throughout campus to attend face to face meetings and or participate in virtual meetings or lift reports weighting approximately 15lbs.
