Non-Exempt Work Schedule & Location:
Approximately 20 hours per week; schedule may vary based on project timelines, community events, and filming needs, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed. (Hybrid role with a combination of remote work and on-site support at CYC locations, community events, and filming sites, as needed.)
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Project Coordinator will support a variety of CYC community programs, events, and media-related projects by assisting with event planning and coordination, TV show production support, promotional content creation, social media promotion, and on-site project execution. Working closely with CYC staff, this part-time role requires someone who is organized, creative, flexible, and comfortable in a fast-paced community-focused environment, with the ability to collaborate effectively in both remote and on-site settings.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with event planning, coordination, and logistical preparation. Support TV show filming, including guest preparation, scheduling, and coordination. Help create promotional materials for events and programs, including photos, graphics, and short videos. Assist with social media promotion for events, campaigns, and community activities. Provide on-site support at events, filming locations, and special projects as needed. Help with general project follow-up, organization, and administrative support. Perform other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual in English and Chinese required; able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken formats. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team environment. Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed based on event, production, and project schedules. Experience with social media platforms and basic content creation is preferred. Experience with photography, graphic design, video editing, or event support is a plus. Interest in community work, media production, and youth/family programming is highly desirable. Able to lift or move at least 25lbs Ability to travel to off-site events and filming locations and perform light physical tasks, including setting up, carrying, and organizing event materials, as needed.
