About Lucid Behavioral Health Lucid Behavioral Health PC is a growing outpatient psychiatry practice in Santa Clara, California, founded by a dual board-certified psychiatrist. The practice focuses on ADHD and treatment-resistant depression, serves patients through insurance-based care, and is building out community and provider referral relationships to support a growing patient base. About the Role We are hiring a Referral Coordinator to lead referral development and community outreach for the practice. This role builds and maintains relationships with referring providers, therapists, and community organizations, supports intake coordination for prospective patients, and helps close scheduling gaps through no-show follow-up. This is a 90-day pilot engagement with the opportunity to expand based on mutual fit and results. What You'll Do Build and maintain referral relationships with providers, therapists, and community organizations Conduct community outreach to grow the practice's referral network Coordinate intake and follow-up with prospective patients Direct task-level support from the practice's virtual assistant for referral data entry, tracking updates, and follow-up scheduling Follow up on no-shows and scheduling gaps to improve rebooking rates Track referral sources and outreach activity in the practice's systems Coordinate with the internal team on patient pipeline and scheduling Support additional growth-related administrative tasks as needed What We're Looking For Experience in healthcare outreach, referral coordination, intake, or a related patient-facing role Strong relationship-building and communication skills Comfortable tracking activity and reporting results in a structured format Self-directed and organized, with good judgment operating independently Familiarity with HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements Reliable transportation for local community and provider visits Engagement Details 90-day pilot engagement, with structured check-ins at the 30, 60, and 90-day marks Independent contractor role, up to 10 hours per week Reports to the practice's Operations Partner Coordinates day-to-day referral-related tasks with the practice's virtual assistant; overall VA management remains with the Operations Partner Performance evaluated on growth in referral relationships, new patient volume, no-show follow-up, and outreach documentation Potential for continuation or expansion of the role beyond the pilot period based on performance Important Traits We Value Calmness under pressure Emotional maturity Ownership mentality Follow-through Systems thinking Organizational intelligence Judgment and discretion Relationship-building instinct Professional communication Ability to prioritize effectively Compensation Expected initial range: Approximately $25-$40+ per hour depending on structure and experience Schedule & Structure Flexible hybrid structure Combination of remote work and periodic in-person coordination Part-time initially, with potential to expand into a larger role Must be highly responsive and organized To Apply Please include: Submit your resume and a brief note on your experience with healthcare outreach or referral coordination.
