Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Community Engagement Coordinator to foster meaningful connections within our community. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead outreach initiatives, develop impactful programs, and build strong relationships with diverse groups. As a vital member of our team, you will champion community involvement, coordinate volunteer efforts, and promote our mission through innovative engagement strategies. Duties Develop and implement community outreach programs that align with organizational goals and address community needs. Manage and supervise volunteers, ensuring they are supported, trained, and engaged in meaningful activities. Organize and facilitate public speaking events, workshops, and informational sessions to raise awareness about our initiatives. Lead program development efforts by designing activities that promote social well-being, health education, or addiction counseling. Coordinate project management tasks to ensure timely execution of community events and campaigns. Utilize marketing skills to promote events via social media platforms, newsletters, and local partnerships to maximize participation. Collect data on program participation and community feedback to evaluate impact and inform future planning. Skills Proven experience in volunteer management and supervising teams effectively. Strong public speaking abilities with the confidence to engage diverse audiences. Expertise in program development, project management, and strategic planning. Proficiency in marketing techniques, including social media management and content creation. Experience in data collection methods to track engagement metrics and outcomes. Knowledge of social work principles, public health issues, or addiction counseling is a plus. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to recruit, motivate, and guide team members. Administrative experience for managing schedules, reports, and documentation efficiently. Ability to teach or train others in various community-related topics. $21,879.00 - $34,086.77 per year
