Youth Outreach Coordinator Salary:
$55,000/yr Position Summary The Youth Outreach Coordinator engages and supports young people through community outreach, program promotion, and relationship-building while also providing critical administrative and coordination support to the HGCY program. This role serves as a bridge between youth, internal teams, and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery, accurate reporting, and effective follow-through on referrals and warm hand-offs. This role connects youth to education, employment, and supportive services while working closely with internal teams and community partners. Key Responsibilities Conduct outreach in schools, community centers, public spaces, events, and online platforms. Build strong relationships with youth, families, and community partners. Recruit youth for programs and provide orientations, information sessions, and one-on-one support. Assist youth with applications, assessments, and enrollment documents. Facilitate workshops and group activities that promote life skills and well-being. Connect youth to resources such as housing, counseling, education, and employment services. Collaborate with schools, nonprofits, employers, and social service agencies. Program Coordination & Liaison Functions Serve as a liaison between HGCY, internal teams (WIOA, SNAP, Workforce Connectors, etc.), and external partners. Coordinate and monitor warm hand-offs, ensuring referrals are properly assigned, documented, and followed through to completion. Communicate regularly with partners to confirm service status, address barriers, and resolve gaps in service delivery. Support cross-team collaboration to ensure youth experience a smooth and consistent customer journey. Administrative, Reporting & Data Management Pull, compile, and organize program reports from multiple systems and sources. Maintain trackers and dashboards related to outreach activity, referrals, enrollments, placements, and outcomes. Track outreach activities, maintain accurate case notes, and ensure timely and complete documentation. Verify data accuracy, identify discrepancies, and follow up with staff as needed. Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Required qualifications include customer service experience, community or partner engagement experience, and direct experience working with youth.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple workflows, and document visits and contacts accurately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Associate's degree in education, Social Work, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
