Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Coalition Coordinator to lead community engagement initiatives, foster strong partnerships, and drive impactful programs that address pressing social issues. In this role, you will coordinate efforts across diverse community groups, manage volunteer teams, and develop strategies to enhance outreach and program effectiveness. Your leadership will empower underserved populations, promote health and wellness, and strengthen collaborative efforts within the community. Duties Develop and implement community outreach strategies to engage diverse populations effectively. Coordinate and supervise volunteer teams, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and aligned with program goals. Build and maintain strong partnerships with local organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders. Lead public speaking engagements at community events to raise awareness about programs and services. Manage program development activities including planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of community initiatives. Collect and analyze data related to program outcomes to inform continuous improvement efforts. Oversee social media platforms and marketing efforts to promote community programs and events. Facilitate grassroots organizing efforts to mobilize community members around shared goals. Provide addiction counseling support when necessary and collaborate with public health agencies on related initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety protocols by maintaining CPR certification and adhering to health guidelines. Communicate effectively with clients, community members, and partners through written reports and verbal updates. Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and preparing progress reports. Experience Proven experience in volunteer management, supervising teams or staff in community settings. Strong background in program development, project management, and community outreach initiatives. Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently. Demonstrated success in social media management, marketing strategies, and data collection techniques. Knowledge of addiction counseling, public health principles, or social work is highly desirable. Experience working with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations is essential. Leadership experience in grassroots organizing or youth programs teaching is preferred. Bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging multilingual communities effectively. Strong organizational skills combined with technical proficiency in relevant software tools.
