Overview Join our dynamic team as a Community Outreach Coordinator at the entry level and become a vital catalyst for positive community engagement! Responsibilities Plan, organize, and execute community outreach events to raise awareness and foster engagement. Develop and maintain strong relationships with local organizations, schools, and community leaders. Manage volunteer programs by recruiting, training, supervising, and recognizing volunteers. Utilize social media platforms to promote events, share success stories, and increase community involvement. Support campus recruitment efforts by representing the organization at educational institutions and career fairs. Assist in managing databases such as Salesforce and Raiser's Edge to track outreach activities and donor/volunteer information. Deliver compelling presentations and public speeches to diverse audiences to communicate organizational goals effectively. Collaborate with team members on training & development initiatives to enhance outreach strategies. Supervise junior staff or volunteers during events or projects to ensure smooth operations. Contribute to social work initiatives by understanding community needs and aligning programs accordingly. Experience Previous experience in volunteer management or community service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for social work is essential. Familiarity with social media management tools and platforms is a plus. Demonstrated ability in public speaking or campus recruitment activities will be highly valued. Experience with Salesforce or Raiser's Edge CRM systems is advantageous for managing contacts and tracking engagement efforts. Proven leadership skills through supervising or managing teams or projects are desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently. $46,899.00 - $56,480.51 per year
