As a Community Outreach Representative, you will interact directly with the public to promote nonprofits, raise awareness, and support fundraising efforts through in-person outreach and local events. The Community Outreach Representative is responsible for public engagement and fundraising support through face-to-face conversations and community outreach at local events. You will play an important role in helping nonprofits expand their reach and secure the support needed to continue their work. Key Responsibilities of the Community Outreach Representative Connect with individuals at community events to promote nonprofit missions and initiatives Inform community members about programs, campaigns, and the real-world impact of charitable contributions Encourage donations in support of active fundraising efforts Clearly communicate the purpose, goals, and outcomes of partner organizations Represent nonprofit partners in a professional and positive manner during all interactions Assist with community outreach campaigns and fundraising events to increase visibility Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and weekly outreach goals Maintain a high level of professionalism, energy, and approachability in public settings Qualifications for the Community Outreach Representative Strong verbal communication, people skills, and a desire to help others Comfortable engaging with the community in a face-to-face environment Positive mindset with an interest in community involvement and charitable work Ability to work both independently and within a team setting Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various events Previous experience in customer service, fundraising, or a related field is a plus, but not required Start a rewarding career today!
