WEEKEND SERVICES
To ensure the Saddleback Kids ministry program is offered on the weekend. This includes program set-up, setting up and tearing down the rooms used, check-in area, and staffing requirements. Three rooms minimum for 3 age groups. Teaching Explore SK, New Leader Orientation 1, baptism classes, and child dedication classes as scheduled. PROGRAM Prepare all curriculum for weekend use, including all print items, keynotes, crafts, etc. Special event weekend prep when needed.
VOLUNTEERS
Recruit and onboard new SK volunteers. Facilitate training and fellowship for SK volunteers. Care and shepherding for SK volunteers.
COMMUNICATION
Weekly e-mail communication to SK volunteers. Family communication as needed. Promotional materials for the ministry. Remain in communication with campus team and SK central team.
MEETINGS
Weekly campus staff meetings. Monthly SK meetings. Monthly all staff meetings.
What you have done:
Experience:
Based on experience, this position can be either a Coordinator for those with less experience or a Director for those candidates who have prior Children's Ministry experience. Administrative experience is highly desirable as well as experience recruiting and shepherding volunteers.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree is desirable.
Decision Making:
An experienced candidate will have full range of decision making for this ministry as long as the decisions are based within the SK playbook. A less experienced candidate will work closely with the Campus Pastor to ensure that decisions are made based within the SK playbook. Saddleback Church's pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity and budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. The estimated pay rate for this position is $20-$27 hourly, depending on experience. We will provide a pay rate within our salary structure that fits a candidate's qualifications and experience for the job. The posted wage range does not guarantee a specific job offer.
