Classification:
Hourly/ Non-exempt Overview
This position provides administrative support to Religious Education Department in a very busy Parish. Job Responsibilities Update and maintain a paper filing system and organized computer files. Communicate with students, parents, catechists, and staff as needed. Produce sacramental certificates and post records to sacramental books. Input registrations to Parishsoft for Rel Ed, OCIA and Sacramental programs
Record and maintain all catechists and religious education volunteer records.
Maintain the daily/weekly/monthly agenda and help arrange events. Assist CRE with development and implementation of policies and practices. Check the levels of office supplies and place appropriate orders. Must be a practicing Roman Catholic.
Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Suite and excel.
2-3 years of office experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
Must be able to clear a FBI Level II background check.
