Children s Ministries Director Full-Time | Exempt Deep Creek Community Church (DC3)

• Punta Gorda, FL The Opportunity Deep Creek Community Church is seeking a passionate, creative, and relational leader to serve as our Children s Ministries Director .

This role exists to help children (Birth-5th Grade) grow into lifelong followers of Jesus while building a vibrant, volunteer-driven ministry that reflects the heart and mission of DC3. If you love Jesus, love kids, thrive in team leadership, and believe children s ministry is foundational

• this role may be for you. Who We Are DC3 is a vibrant, growing church currently averaging 1,500 adults and 140 kids per weekend. At DC3, children s ministry is not childcare

You ll be trusted, supported, and encouraged to lead creatively, develop leaders, and make a lasting impact on children and families in our community.

(Mark 12:30-31) What You ll Do Build and Develop Leaders Recruit, train, and empower volunteers who love serving kids Create a strong, team-based ministry model Provide coaching, encouragement, and accountability to leaders Foster a healthy, life-giving volunteer culture Lead DC3 Kids (Birth-5th Grade) Oversee all children s ministry environments with excellence and care Select and evaluate engaging, biblically sound curriculum Create schedules and systems that support smooth weekly operations Maintain safety standards including background checks and child-protection policies Stay current on creative teaching methods and children s ministry trends Lead or delegate special events such as VBS, midweek programming, and holiday experiences Teach when needed

• leading from the front and modeling engagement Equip parents with tools to disciple their children at home Manage the children s ministry budget and supervise DC3 Kids staff Who You Are Required A deep passion for leading children into a lifelong relationship with Jesus Proven experience building and leading volunteer teams Strong organizational, creative, and administrative abilities Excellent communication and relational skills Ability to empower volunteers while providing structure and accountability A self-starter who approaches challenges with perseverance and grace Comfortable using Microsoft 365 or similar tools Able to connect naturally with parents, preschoolers, and elementary kids alike•from worship music to Bluey to Minecraft ?

? Preferred Degree in Ministry, Theology, or Christian Education and/or 5+ years leading a large (100+) children s ministry Familiarity with CCB, Planning Center, ProPresenter, and Apple/Mac products
