Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW
Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church is a mid-sized congregation of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. We are committed to sharing the love of Jesus both locally and globally. As our Church Office Administrator, you will provide support to the pastor and church staff, manage daily office operations, maintain accurate records and provide communications among staff, volunteers and congregants. This position reports to the pastor and the church personnel committee. Salary will be based on experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Office Management Reception:
Answer phone calls, reply to emails, and greet visitors
Scheduling:
Maintain the master church calendar, coordinate room bookings
Supplies:
Order office supplies and schedule maintenance of office equipment
Mail:
Process physical and digital incoming and outgoing mail
Publications:
Design, print, and distribute weekly bulletins, newsletters and church materials
Digital Communications:
Maintain the church website, media channels, and sign
Facility:
Act as the primary contact for vendors, community groups, and members
Filing:
Organize and secure both physical and digital files on church records/statistics
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Experience Preferred:
2+ years working in office administration, preferably in a church or non-profit setting
Skills Tech Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and church management software (Adobe and/or Canva would also be helpful)
Communication:
Strong verbal and written skills
Discretion:
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential member information
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 35.0 per week
