Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Manager of Volunteer Services supervises volunteers and provides direction, coordination, and consultation for volunteer functions within the hospital and oversees the operation of the Gift Shop and First Perk.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree preferred Minimum Work Experience 3 Years Required Licenses/Certifications Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Ability to demonstrate advocacy of qualify and cost effective care. Ability to demonstrate managerial skills. Ability to handle confidential information. Ability to supervise employees. Ability to deal effectively with community/consumers. Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times. Ability to show strong commitment to religious values of the institution. Ability to maintain work area according to OSHA and NIOSH standards. Ability to develop and compile statistical data Ability to develop program indicators. Ability to interview others. Proficient in basic computer applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets and internet usage. Record keeping. Organization and planning skills. Demonstrates capability to conduct one's self in a calm and professional demeanor when dealing with the public and/or with difficult situations. Demonstrates capability to effectively communicate orally and in writing. Ability to work well with a diverse group of staff and volunteers. Willingness to adjust hours to accommodate the need of the job. Ability to effectively manage a wide array of tasks, projects, and responsibilities. Ability to work productively in an unstructured environment with frequent interruptions. Designated Driver No OSHA Category 3 - Low Risk
