Job Description

Position Purpose:
Stonegate Fellowship is a next generational church; in Stonegate Kids we put great energy into point kids to a life-transforming relationship with Jesus. Everything we do is designed specifically for the developmental level of each child. This role aims to provide babies a safe place on Sunday mornings and intentionally connects with parents as they grow closer to Jesus.
The Win:
A successful WeeGems Ministry Director will recruit Servant-Leaders for their area, equip them for success, and empower them to minister within the pod. The WeeGems Director and Servant-Leaders will work together to minister to babies (6wks
  • 24months) as well as the parents that are bringing them.
Equally, the WeeGems Director will connect with new moms, build relationships, and help shepherd young families to become the primary disciple makers of their children. How We Win | Responsibilities and Expectations. Recruit, interview, train, and develop Servant-Leaders to minister to children 6wks-24months old while stewarding the leadership development for that area. Schedule and coordinate Servant
  • Leaders each week in order to execute Sunday programming in the WeeGems pod.
Creatively develop and maintain relationships with Servant-leaders. Manage the ministry for new and expectant mothers. Go the extra mile with new families making them feel welcome. Shepherd young families in leading Stonegate's Family Dedication efforts. Work and collaborate with the curriculum team to contextualize and implement age-appropriate content. Maintain consistent communication with the SGKIDS Team by attending all necessary staff meetings and being a team player in ministry-specific or church-wide events. Assist the SGKids Team in developing events, programming and outreach within the constraints of the budget. Communicate and work together with other ministry leads to ensure the facility is up to nursery cleaning standards and is set up to be utilized well be all pertaining parties.
Minimum Work and Education :
3-5 years(+) experience in either a large-church Children's Ministry, school or other like-minded organization.
Skills :
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn and use various media programs. Steady, positive attitude especially during unexpected, last-minute changes. People-oriented, team player who works well with others. Setting and meeting deadlines. Ability to work with, equip and manage people.

Time Requirement:
Full time, non-exempt role (Targeting 40 hours/week-including time doing outreach and service events.) Flexible Scheduling
  • Office hours are typically 8:30-5:30 Monday through Thursday. Sundays & Holidays
  • As a church, Sundays and religious holidays (Christmas, Easter, etc.
) are important work days for us. You should expect to work on those and some accommodations can be made on a case-by-case basis. Office hours will fluctuate and may increase during ministry event periods. Be subject to the personnel policies of Stonegate Fellowship Church.
