This part-time position plays a vital role in supporting religious education programs, sacramental preparation, and daily parish operations. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic who is passionate about serving the Church, attentive to detail, and able to work independently while maintaining a welcoming and professional presence. Overview Key Responsibilities Christian Formation Support Manage registration for religious education classes and maintain tuition records and receipts. Order and maintain classroom supplies and materials. Prepare classroom resources and teacher materials. Assist with sacramental record keeping and administrative needs. Assemble booklets, flyers, newsletters, displays, and educational materials. Support communication efforts, including mailings and special event correspondence. Administrative & Parish Office Support Assist with maintaining financial and parish records. Provide clerical and administrative support to the Christian Formation team. Serve as backup receptionist, greeting visitors and assisting parishioners as needed. Support parish events and initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned by the Pastor. QualificationsRequired Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Required Experience & Skills Practicing Catholic in good standing who actively participates in the sacramental life of the Church. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Publisher. Familiarity with Parish Data Systems, copiers, and postage equipment, or the ability to learn quickly. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working with minimal supervision. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling parish information.
