Recruit new first year and transfer students. Admissions counselors are responsible and accountable for meeting individualized enrollment goals determined by University enrollment goals. Manage recruitment territory based on geographic region and/or student group. Maintain regular communication with and provide timely and accurate responses to prospective students via telephone, text message, email, social media, and scheduled and walk-in appointments. Conduct individual and group presentations. Provide campus tours as needed. Advise recruited students and families on admission requirements, financial aid and enrollment procedures. Monitor progress of student applications. Request and collect supporting documents to complete application files. Maintain and monitor application roster of between 400-700 applicants. Utilize TargetX CRM (customer relationship management) database to communicate with and track activity of prospective students. Produce and monitor funnel reports. Present effective small and large group presentations of the university to prospective students, parents, counselors, alumni, pastors and youth leaders both on and off campus. Develop and maintain relationships with important influencers and partners including high school counselors, community college transfer centers, community-based organizations, churches, and youth pastors. Recruit students via various off-campus events and activities including college fairs, high school and community college visits, church visits, and regional yield events. Maintain current knowledge of University principles, programs, policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
