They serve a diverse student population across business, technology, and professional programs delivered through online, hybrid, and in person modalities. Job Overview They are hiring an Admissions Counselor at their San Jose campus to support enrollment growth. The successful candidate will manage a high volume of prospective student inquiries, guide applicants through the admissions process, and contribute to the achievement of enrollment targets.
Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities:
Manage assigned lead inventory and convert inquiries into enrolled students Conduct daily outreach to prospective students by phone, email, and CRM Counsel prospective students on program fit, admissions requirements, and next steps Maintain accurate and timely records in the CRM throughout the admissions cycle Support applicants through document collection and application completion Coordinate with internal teams to resolve enrollment related issues Participate in virtual and in person recruitment events as required Represent CalMU professionally in all internal and external interactions
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field Two or more years of admissions experience at an accredited university or postsecondary institution, working a lead based enrollment model Demonstrated success meeting enrollment, conversion, or activity targets Proficiency with CRM systems and structured pipeline management Strong verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with disciplined follow up Comfortable operating in a metrics driven environment
