Job Description

Join Purdue University Fort Wayne:
Purdue University Fort Wayne is currently seeking a fulltime, onsite Admissions Counselor in Admissions. The Admissions Counselor serves as a key member of the Purdue University Fort Wayne Office of Admissions, responsible for engaging prospective students and guiding them through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment. The annual salary for this position is $43,276.08.
Primary Responsibilities:
Identify, recruit, and yield prospective students through outreach such as high school visits, college fairs, campus events, and community engagements. Provide personalized information about academic programs, admissions requirements, financial aid, scholarships, and campus life to prospective students and families. Implement call, text, and interactive communication to engage prospective students. Maintain detailed reports in the CRM system. Cultivate and maintain collaborate relationships with secondary markets; including high school guidance counselors, students and families. Promote the University's programs. Offer personalized support throughout the admissions process. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. 2 years of experience in admissions, sales, recruitment, or related fields within higher education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM systems and other technology platforms for communication and data management. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support to prospective students and families. Must be able to travel throughout the assigned territory, requiring some evenings and weekends. Must have a valid driver's license and remain in compliance with the Purdue University Motor Vehicle Records Check policy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Higher Education experience.
