Tuition Reimbursement Programs Job Summary:
Manage the admissions process for prospective and incoming residents requiring transitional rehabilitation services or long-term care and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Duties & Responsibilities Participate in Marketing Village Green Health and Rehabilitation within the hospitals by developing working relationships with discharge planners, physician practices, home health agencies, etc. Proactively reaches out to and responds to inquiries from hospital discharge planners, families, and other referral sources Serve as the initial liaison with residents and families on facility services and issues Interview residents or residents' representatives to obtain necessary personal and financial data to determine eligibility for admission Conduct tours of the skilled nursing facility/rehab area. Develop presentations and events aimed at community education and awareness on healthcare specialty programs and services. Maintain a model room and update marketing materials for facility social media and various advertisements. Assign accommodations for new admissions related to nursing care needs, resident and residents' families' preference, availability of space, and other information. Ensure all admissions paperwork is completed thoroughly, accurately and on a timely basis. Informs prospective residents of their responsibilities, rights, and all benefits. Maintain records of admissions and discharges and compile occupancy census data. Participate in meetings to alert appropriate staff members of projected admissions, room changes, discharges, and appointments/tours. Maintain knowledge of Medicare & Medicaid regulations to ensure services are in compliance with professional boarding standards, state and federal regulatory requirements. Assist family and business office with residents applying for Medicaid. All other duties assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or healthcare related field preferred but not required. 3-5 years of experience in a related Admissions/Marketing or business development position within or related healthcare setting Strongly preferred Excellent customer service skills, personality and drive!
