11 The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
Reviews student applications and make admissions recommendations based on established criteria. May interview prospective students for set admissions criteria. New York State Residency is required. Cover letter is also required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Application Review Reviews and evaluates undergraduate applications from assigned geographic regions/schools (domestic and international) as a first reader for Arts, Sciences and Engineering to determine admissibility based on various secondary / post-secondary school curricula and credit review, non-academic / extra-curricular engagement, written communication samples and non-cognitive and values-based characters, behavior demonstration. Merit Scholarship Evaluation and Recommendation Evaluates academic and non-academic components of individual undergraduate applications to recommend the potential inclusion of merit-based scholarships to applicants who demonstrate outstanding potential, regardless of financial circumstances. Other Duties as Assigned Engages in ongoing learning remaining current with Admissions best practices and incorporating new knowledge into day-to-day work.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
