Basic Function:
To recruit diverse undergraduate students to the University; to plan and implement programs to increase the quantity and quality of new students; to disseminate information regarding the University. Reports to Assistant Director, Admissions. Additional Basic Function•if applicable:
Examples of Duties:
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following: Represent the university and disseminate information at high schools and college fairs within an assigned territory. Counsel prospective students and families; assist students through the college selection process. Answer telephone inquiries and send information to prospective students. Plan and participate in special programs and events to increase new student enrollment. Give presentations on the university to diverse audiences including high school students, parents, alumni, guidance counselors, and colleagues. Assist with the publication of Admissions Office recruitment and promotional materials. May supervise students and/or provide functional guidance of support staff or other employees who work on a project or assignment on a temporary or intermittent basis. Perform related duties as assigned. Additional Examples of Duties•if applicable:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field, and three months of relevant experience.
