Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Traditional Enrollment, the Admissions Representative is hired at one of three levels: Admissions Counselor I, Admissions Counselor II, or Assistant Director. The representative serves as a student recruiter and enrollment manager for prospective first-year and transfer undergraduate students. This role focuses on building meaningful relationships with students and families from inquiry through enrollment while representing Regis University's Jesuit mission and values. Based in Colorado, the Admissions Representative represents Regis University to multiple constituencies, including prospective students, their families, and school/community contacts within and outside Colorado. This position will be responsible for explaining Regis' Jesuit values, academic programs, student life, scholarship opportunities, financial aid, cost, and application process. The counselor manages recruitment territories, conducts outreach, plans and attends fairs, high school visits, and individual meetings, presents to group visits and prospective student audiences, evaluates applications holistically, and supports students throughout the admissions process. The role includes frequent travel in-state, public speaking, and evening/weekend event participation. Successful candidates are relationship-driven professionals who are passionate about higher education, student development, and achieving both personal and team enrollment goals through thoughtful, student-centered engagement. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication and presentation skills, data-informed decision making, and expertise in at least one key area of enrollment success and willingness to engage in at least one committee.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Student Recruitment & Enrollment Management
- Recruit and enroll prospective students through relationship-building, territory/program management, Salesforce CRM utilization, public presentations, travel, lead generation, and holistic application review. Financial Aid Counseling & Data Analysis
- Advise students and families on financial aid, scholarships, cost, and value of attendance; analyze recruitment data and trends to support strategic enrollment decisions and recommend admissions policy improvements. Strategic Collaboration & Market Development
- Partner with admissions and marketing teams to execute recruitment communications, develop enrollment strategies, create recruitment materials, and identify new target markets. Relationship Management & Industry Engagement
- Maintain partnerships with campus departments, referral sources, and industry professionals while staying current on higher education enrollment trends and best practices. Professional Development & Goal Achievement
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives while meeting qualitative and quantitative enrollment goals aligned with Regis University's mission and values. Administrative & Team Support
- Serve as a collaborative member of the admissions team, support university committees and initiatives, and perform additional duties that advance the Regis mission and Jesuit educational values.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Driver's License 1+ years of experience in a higher education environment or in a recruitment position (Jesuit College or University preferred). Previous engagement with admissions councils and/or committees preferred Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
