College Counselor for College Prep Company (Irvine)

I Dream Academy is looking for a college counselor to help guide students on the right path, We're an academic counseling and tutoring company helping students and their families to reach their academic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Guide students through their academic and extracurricular work and ultimately, the college admissions process.
• Offer advice regarding choice of career/major, coursework, college selection, and all related areas that compose a successful high school career.
• Help students navigate and fill out the UC, CSU, and Common Application
• Help students brainstorm ideas and edit college admissions essays

Qualifications:

Must have at least one cycle of college application experience Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a top university. Graduate degree(s) preferred although not required. Experience in academic counseling is required. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Experience as a college counselor is preferred.

Bilingual:

fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English is a Huge plus!

$35.00 - $70.00 per hour
