Job Description

Provide admissions counseling, placement testing, and recruitment services for assigned recruiting territory and its high schools. Develops and implements recruiting initiatives for assigned academic programs throughout service area schools and surrounding communities. Work independently with area high school guidance staff and OCtech Student Services staff to test, admit and finalize prospective high school student enrollment. Provide prospective students with assistance in completing the enrollment process. Provide admissions and enrollment services to the high schools, community agencies & general public within assigned recruiting territories. Assist with planning and coordinating activities related to assigned academic areas. Assist with recruiting events both on and off campus. Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing Accuplacer testing for assigned service area high schools. A bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs. Master's degree in a related field or Bachelor's degree and two (2) years experience in Student Services. Master's degree in student services, student personnel, guidance or counseling is preferred. Position requires extensive travel within Orangeburg & Calhoun counties and will involve transporting and setting up exhibits that can weigh up to 30 lbs. There may be occasional weekend or evening events.
