Job Description

VESL Admission Associate Interactive College of Technology - 3.2 Pasadena, TX Job Details Full-time 22 hours ago Qualifications Bilingual Working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds Stakeholder relationship building Full Job Description Coming to a new country is not an easy decision or journey. Once here, language barriers can prevent people from reaching their full potential. At Interactive College of Technology (ICT), an accredited college serving the community for over 40 years, we help immigrants and refugees gain the English language skills needed to improve their lives, careers, and opportunities. If you enjoy helping people, are bilingual, and have at least two years of admissions, recruiting, or sales experience, this may be an excellent opportunity for you. Interactive College of Technology (ICT) is currently seeking an Admissions Representative for our English as a Second Language (VESL) Department at the Pasadena Campus. Position Overview This position is responsible for recruiting and enrolling prospective students from diverse cultural and ethnic communities into our English language programs. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and a passion for helping others achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities Contact and follow up with prospective students by phone, text, email, and in person. Schedule and conduct campus interviews and admissions appointments. Build relationships within local communities, organizations, businesses, and referral partners. Participate in community outreach events and networking activities. Maintain accurate records and follow-up activities in the CRM system. Guide prospective students through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment. Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals. What to Expect This is a people-focused position that combines admissions counseling, community outreach, and sales. You will spend a significant amount of time making outbound calls, following up with leads, and building relationships within the community. Success requires persistence, initiative, and the ability to connect with people from different backgrounds. The work can be challenging, but it is also incredibly rewarding. There is nothing quite like helping someone enroll in English classes and watching their confidence grow as they gain the skills needed to build a better future for themselves and their families. Bilingual required (language based on community needs). Minimum two years of admissions, recruiting, sales, customer service, or related experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable with outreach, networking, and community engagement. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and organized. Reliable transportation and willingness to attend community events as needed. If you are passionate about helping others and want a career where you can make a meaningful impact every day, we encourage you to apply.
