MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
: High School Diploma or GED Associate's Degree in a Job Related Field (or equivalent) Required Bachelor's Degree in a Job Related Field (or equivalent) Preferred Three Years of Experience in Early Childhood Development Experience Working with Families / Clients in a Supportive Role Ability to Set and Maintain Professional Boundaries with Families Knowledge of Community Resources and the Skills to Link Families to Them Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles and Family Dynamics Excellent Communication, Listening, and Observation Skills, Sensitivity to Individual and Cultural Diversity Must Possess Excellent Interpersonal Skills Capable of Self-Direction, Decision Making, and Working Independently with Minimal Supervision Knowledge of Community Resources and Services Relative to the Agency's Goals Ability to Work Cooperatively with Groups of Parents, Supporting Agencies, Staff Members, and Community Representatives Ability to Work Flexible Hours on Occasion
