A Family, School, or General Case Manager coordinates the delivery of a range of social and health services to individuals and families. Assess client needs and work with agencies and institutions ensure clients get the help they need. Monitor client and work with other service providers as necessary to address client needs. Provide limited counseling to client and their family.

Additional Responsibilities:
Coordinate referrals, transportation, home visits, and recovery support services while collaborating with community partners to meet participant needs. Contribute to program development, outreach, and community education; maintain accurate, confidential records; and support grant reporting, compliance, and continuous program improvement.
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
1 to 2 years of case management, behavioral health, social services, recovery support, or related experience is required with 6-12 months of supervision experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Behavioral Health, Human Services, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and one to two additional years of relevant experience may be substituted. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships and work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Strong organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and occasionally high-stress environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software and case management systems.
Certificates and Licenses:
A valid Alaska Driver's license and the ability to be insured on CVTC's vehicle insurance policy is a requirement of this position. CDC I certification preferred, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Pre-Employment Drug Screening and Background Check:
This position requires you to complete and pass a pre-employment state and federal background check and drug screening as a condition of employment. This position is subject to random drug testing.
