$3,100.00 - $3,200.00 / Weekly Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to supporting individuals and families through complex social and emotional challenges. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of high-risk populations, including children, individuals with disabilities, and culturally diverse communities. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a proactive approach to crisis management and social services delivery. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive social work services to children, families, and individuals in need of support across various settings. Conduct assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and risks, developing tailored intervention plans. Offer crisis intervention and crisis management to clients experiencing urgent or high-stress situations. Collaborate with child protective services, family law professionals, and community organizations to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable populations. Support clients through behavioral health challenges, including mental health issues and disabilities, utilizing evidence-based practices. Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and case reports using Microsoft Office tools. Facilitate communication between clients and service providers while advocating for client rights and needs. Deliver training or guidance on child welfare, child & family services, and conflict management techniques to team members or families. Ensure compliance with legal standards related to child protection, family law, and social services regulations. Promote a culturally inclusive environment by working effectively with diverse communities and respecting individual backgrounds. Experience Proven experience working within child protective services, child welfare, or related social service fields. Demonstrated ability to manage high-risk populations with sensitivity and professionalism. Experience working with children, families, individuals with disabilities, or behavioral health challenges is highly desirable. Strong background in crisis intervention, crisis management, and conflict resolution techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes. Bilingual skills are preferred to effectively serve diverse populations; fluency in additional languages is an asset. Knowledge of family law, childcare practices, first aid, CPR certification, and working with culturally diverse communities will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
