Part-Time After-School Site Program Manager Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs with a focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students! Right At School's mission emphasizes a commitment to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind. We do this by building a team of mission-driven individuals who are passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children. Right At School is currently seeking a Part-Time Split-Shift Before and After-School Site Floating Program Manager for multiple locations within the J.O. Combs Unified School District.
Position Details:
Compensation:
$20.00- $24.00 per hour (commensurate with education and experience).
Location:
Located inside the JO Combs area schools.Split-Shift Schedule:
Monday through Friday. Schedule will vary upon need.Before School:
6:10 am- 8:50 am RETURN
After School:
2:50 pm- 6:00 pm (
Wednesdays:
12:50 pm
Requirements:
The center program manager must be 21 years of age with documentation of one of the following: Option 1: At least 24 months of childcare experience, a high school diploma or equivalency, and
6 credit hours of more in early childhood, child development, or a closely related field
from an accredited college or university, OR
at least 60 hours of actual instruction, provided in conferences, seminars, lectures, or
workshops in early childhood, child development, or a closely related field, and an
additional 12 hours of instruction, provided in conferences, seminars, lectures, or
workshops in the areas of program administration, , planning, development, management Option 2: At least 18 months childcare experience and
an N.A.C., C.D.A., or C.C.P. credential. OR
at least 24 credit hours from an accredited college or university, including at least 6
credit hours in early childhood, child development, or a closely related field; Option 3: at least 6 months of childcare experience and an Associate's degree from an accredited
college or university in early childhood, child development, or a closely related field; Option 4: at least 3 months of childcare experience and a bachelor's degree from an accredited
college or university in early childhood, child development, or a closely related field. Must be able to complete state CPR/first aid training, provide a negative TB test, complete mandated reporter training, and hold a valid Arizona fingerprint card.
You must have a minimum of 12 months of experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting.
Must be 21 years of age.
One year of supervisor/management experience
High School Diploma/GED.
We will also require:
- Proven experience as a before-and-after-school site program manager.
- Ability to reside locally within the surrounding J.O. Combs area.
- Capacity to manage a split-shift schedule and perform effectively under pressure.
- A positive, adaptable attitude focused on fostering an engaging environment for students.
You'll drive the mission by: Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents and other observation
Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way
Using your coursework training and our in-person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play
Excellent communication skills with varied audience including children, parents, staff and school personnel
Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well-being and attention of all children
