Job Summary:
The Coordinator, Youth Football is responsible for supporting the Youth Football Department, specifically the Arizona Cardinals Youth and High School Football programs and initiatives. This is a full-time position that will require additional evening and weekend hours as dictated by the department's events and responsibilities. The Coordinator, Youth Football must be able to work at all Arizona Cardinals home games, long hours, irregular schedules, weekends, early mornings, late nights, and holidays. A good attitude and commitment to teamwork is a must.
Primary Job Duties:
The Coordinator, Youth Football will have the daily responsibilities including, without limitation, to the following: Assist the Manager, Youth Football with various youth and high school football requests, programs, events, and initiatives. Assist with managing Arizona Cardinals Youth Football Instagram and Twitter accounts, keeping the accounts constantly updated with community relations events and activities. Manage Youth Football inventory, including appearance jerseys, equipment and promotional items. Manage and update the youth and high school football contact databases. Assist with the event planning and management of all player appearances, visits and special events. Assist youth football staff members with additional projects as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education, training, and experience
Experience:
At least two (2) years of experience in the sports industry preferred Experience in event operations Previous experience engaging with youth and high school football organizations, particularly coaches, preferred Excellent time-management and organizational skills Experience with MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint Effective verbal and written communication skills with individuals across the organization Bilingual (Spanish), preferred Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and sensitivity around professional athletes in their work environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; hours may vary depending on business needs. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length. This role will require exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis. Valid drivers license.
