The Member Services Coordinator (MSC) provides culturally appropriate services to Tribal members to support Elders and Youth. The MSC implements the Elder's program providing monthly luncheons, weekly check-ins, transportation, and delivery services. Working collaboratively with the Youth Activities Coordinator and MMIP grant staff, the MSC is responsible for assisting in the planning, developing, and delivering of program activities for Mechoopda Tribal youth.
Requirements:
Associate's degree; OR at least two years of experience working with youth; OR an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Experience working with Native American communities
Demonstrated ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality of sensitive information.
Knowledge of basic safety practices and must be CPR/First Aid Certified or willing to be trained upon hire.
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
Experience with or desire to work with youth or tribal programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to create basic marketing materials such as flyers and social media posts
Ability to critically analyze and creatively solve problems
Ability to understand follow existing policies and procedures
