Creel Industries has been a leader in social services and is hoping to find people of like mind. Creel Industries is an agency working with developmentally disabled adults within San Diego County. We are a stepping-stone agency that trains applicants who aspire to become social workers and are looking for Case Management experience. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older. A High School diploma, experience or college degree is preferred. No previous experience is required. Training is given upon hire. Must be enthusiastic, motivated and eager to learn and work in a fast-paced, case management position. Must have reliable transportation. As a direct service provider, staff will assist the service recipient in the development of functional skills through one-to-one training in the community or at home. The agency has high standards, but it is rewarding and worth it for the right candidate! The job requires good communication and writing skills, completing paperwork, and meeting deadlines. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, however, all applications will be considered. Responsibilities Manage your own caseload Create and work on client's assigned objectives Monitor and evaluate clients' progress Offer information and counseling on the best course of action during sessions Complete case notes Assist clients with quality social services and resources Skills Build a rapport with clients on your caseload Social perceptiveness and empathy Ability to build and maintain professionalism Ability to relate and communicate with diverse populations and groups Critical thinking
