Job Description

Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract A fulfilling opportunity awaits for a skilled mental health professional driven to support students in grades 9-12. This contract position will see you making a difference over the entire 2026-2027 school year, with the chance to foster student resilience and growth. The ideal start date is August 12, 2026, with your impact extending through June 3, 2027. Working with a manageable caseload of 28-30 high school students, you will address a range of social, emotional, and behavioral needs. The position requires a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide comprehensive mental health case management services. You'll help students achieve both personal and academic goals during consistent weekday hours: 8:15 am to 3:45 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. This full-time role offers a total of 35 billable hours per week.
Desired Qualifications:
Must hold current California LMFT or LCSW licensure Demonstrated experience in a school or youth setting preferred Knowledge of crisis intervention, student advocacy, and family support Strong communication and problem-solving skills Compassionate approach with sensitivity to adolescent issues Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and community resources
