The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, observant, punctual, and able to maintain a calm, child-friendly presence in sensitive situations. Candidates must be willing to commute to various locations and willing to work weekends. Join our team as a Supervised Visitation Monitor and play a vital role in supporting safe, positive interactions between children and their families. In this engaging position, you will oversee supervised visitations, ensuring a secure and nurturing environment that promotes healthy family relationships. Your dedication will help foster trust, stability, and emotional well-being for children and their families during challenging times. Responsibilities Observe and monitor supervised visits between children and their family members to ensure safety, appropriate behavior, and adherence to court or agency guidelines Facilitate a supportive environment that encourages positive interactions while managing conflicts or behavioral issues with professionalism and sensitivity Document visit details accurately, including behaviors, incidents, and any concerns that arise during the session Communicate effectively with families, providing guidance on appropriate interaction and addressing any immediate issues or safety concerns Collaborate with child protective services, family law professionals, and behavioral health specialists to support the child's best interests Respond promptly to crises or behavioral challenges using crisis intervention techniques and conflict management skills Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all policies related to child welfare, family law, and agency procedures Qualifications Experience or training in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, conflict management, or behavioral health is highly desirable Prior work with children or individuals with disabilities in social work or childcare settings is preferred Knowledge of child protective services protocols, family law procedures, and child welfare practices Strong communication skills with the ability to de-escalate conflicts and foster positive relationships Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing crisis situations effectively Demonstrated understanding of working with children in diverse environments and supporting their emotional needs Valid background check clearance and commitment to maintaining confidentiality throughout all aspects of the role Join us in creating a safe space where families can rebuild trust and strengthen bonds.
