COMPANY OVERVIEW

Complete Care Counseling is an outpatient Service that provides individual counseling to clients within long term and temporary living facilities.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Our counseling staff is committed to exercising independent clinical judgment while providing individualized therapeutic services. We collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure best practices and deliver the highest quality of care to our clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) to provide short-term, goal-oriented mental health services within a Recuperative Care setting. This role focuses on supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and complex health needs as they stabilize and transition to long-term care.

The responsibilities are as follows:

Provide brief, solution-focused individual therapy to clients in a recuperative care environment Utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) , Solution-Focused Therapy , and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Conduct initial assessments and diagnostic evaluations within scope of practice Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans focused on stabilization and discharge readiness Complete timely, accurate progress notes and maintain compliance with Medi-Cal/IEHP documentation standards Track and document clinical hours in accordance with BBS requirements Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including case managers, medical providers, and housing coordinators Support clients with emotional regulation, coping skills, and transition planning

QUALIFICATIONS

Registered AMFT or ASW with the California BBS (required) Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field Experience working with homeless populations, SUD, or co-occurring disorders preferred Knowledge of trauma-informed care and brief intervention models Strong documentation and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
