A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Advocates for clients and provides follow up visits. May work with teachers, parents and school administrators to help students improve academically and deal with social issues such as bullying.

AL01 Job Summary The MSW professional provides psychosocial support, counseling, case management, and advocacy services to individuals, families, and communities. They assess client needs, develop intervention plans, connect clients with community resources, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve overall well-being.
Responsibilities Duties:
Conduct psychosocial assessments and identify client needs. Provide individual, family, and group counseling. Develop and implement care or intervention plans. Coordinate referrals to community resources and support services. Advocate for clients' rights and access to healthcare, education, and social services. Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation. Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, nurses, educators, and other professionals. Conduct crisis intervention and provide emotional support. Organize awareness programs, workshops, and community outreach activities. Monitor client progress and evaluate intervention outcomes. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and ethical standards.
