Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Social Worker Supervisor to be responsible for providing supervision, guidance, oversight, and support to case management and social work personnel serving participants in the Transitional Housing Placement Program (THPP). The Social Work Supervisor ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and program requirements while promoting quality services and positive outcomes for participants. Duties Develop, implement, monitor, and update participant Needs and Services Plans. Provide case management services and supportive services to participants Maintain accurate, complete, and timely participant records and case documentation Provide consultation and guidance regarding participant service needs and case planning. Participate in emergency response activities and provide or coordinate 24-hour emergency support as required. Maintain confidentiality of participant and program information. Respond to participant crises and emergencies in accordance with program policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Administrator.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Master's Degree from an accredited graduate school or a graduate program approved by the California Private Post-Secondary and Vocational Education Bureau in one or more of the following areas: (A) Social work or social welfare;(B) Marriage, family and child counseling;(C) Child psychology, child development;(D) Counseling psychology, social psychology;(E) Clinical psychology or Educational psychology, (F) Education with a counseling emphasis; or(G) Equivalent Master's Degree in human services or behavioral science degree In addition to the degree specifications, all of the following coursework and field practice or experience shall be completed prior to employment: (A) At least three semester units or 100 days of internship, field practice or experience in a public or private social service agency setting at the Master's Degree level.(B) At least nine semester units of coursework related to children and families or 18 months experience working with children and families.(C) At least three semester units in working with minority populations; or six months of experience in working with minority populations; or six months in-service training in working with minority populations within the first year of employment as a condition of employment.(D) At least three semester units in child welfare, or two years experience in a public or private child welfare social services setting.(3) Three years of full-time social work or casework employment in the field of family or child welfare services; OR Must have a bachelor's degree based on completion of equivalent education and at least 3 years experience in the field. Pay:
$51,836.72 - $62,427.02 per year
