JOB SUMMARY
This position will provide in-home, Project ImPACT services which focus on parent coaching for young children with difficulties relating and communicating. These services are provided in home, in office and in community settings.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in psychology, child development or a related field. A minimum of one year of experience providing parent/caregiver training or coaching. A minimum of one year of experience working directly with children ages 0 to 3.
REQUIREMENTS
Valid CPR certification (Infant/Child). Pass background/fingerprinting clearance. Tuberculosis clearance. Bilingual (English and Spanish ), with written and oral communication skills. U.S.A. Mobile phone with activated voicemail. Secure Internet. Reliable means of transportation, valid California Driver's License, car registration and insurance under California's requirements.
SALARY:
$19 to $30 (Starting rate based on education and experience)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement Project ImPACT 12-week curriculum with parents. Curriculum involves parent coaching using behavioral and developmental strategies. Provide appropriate assessments and develop goals for children and parents. Make timely contact with families of clients referred to the organization, schedule client appointments and complete home visits and reports in a timely manner. Document all client and collateral contact thoroughly and accurately while maintaining client records in an organized manner. Write reports that are complete and clinically coherent.
