$20.00 per hour Position Summary Hope House is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Human Trafficking Advocate to provide direct support, advocacy, and case management services to survivors of human trafficking and labor trafficking. This position plays a critical role in helping survivors rebuild their lives through crisis intervention, resource coordination, and empowerment-focused services. The Human Trafficking Advocate will work closely with community partners, law enforcement agencies, housing providers, and social service organizations to ensure survivors have access to essential resources and trauma-informed care. This position will also provide support to the Domestic Violence Shelter and assist with community outreach efforts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Direct Client Support Provide individualized case management and re-entry planning for survivors of human trafficking and labor trafficking. Conduct intake assessments to identify immediate and long-term client needs. Assist clients with obtaining identification documents, housing, employment, education, and healthcare services. Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, advocacy, and safety planning. Facilitate peer support groups and life skills workshops that promote empowerment and successful community reintegration. Perform other related duties as assigned. Advocacy & Coordination Collaborate with law enforcement, probation officers, housing providers, and community service organizations to coordinate comprehensive care. Accompany clients to court hearings, medical appointments, interviews, and other supportive services as needed. Advocate for survivors' rights and access to trauma-informed and survivor-centered services. Program Support Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential case records and documentation. Track and report client outcomes in accordance with agency and grant requirements. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities related to trafficking awareness, trauma-informed care, and harm reduction. Support program evaluation, development, and community outreach initiatives. Assist with Domestic Violence Program services as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience working with survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, homelessness, or re-entry populations preferred. Completion of a 40-Hour Human Trafficking Training required. Strong understanding of trauma-informed, survivor-led, and culturally responsive care. Knowledge of community resources and service systems, including criminal justice, housing, healthcare, and social services. Excellent communication, interpersonal, advocacy, and crisis intervention skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical standards. Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation required. Preferred Skills Experience with case management and community resource coordination. Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Manager to join our Next Step Program. In this role, you will support individuals-particularly those transitioning from incarceration by providing comprehensive case management, advocacy, and life-skills support. The ideal candidate is organized, empathetic, and experienced in working with high-risk populations. You will play a key role in helping clients achieve stability through goal setting, resource coordination, and ongoing support. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee must be able to sit and stand for long periods, Handle, grasp, and feel objects and equipment, lift to 50 pounds, reach with hands and arms, extend both arms above the head and/or go below the waist, bend or squat, walk and climb stairs and ladders, hear in a moderately noisy environment, and use a phone or headset for extended periods. Work Conditions:

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
A High School Diploma or Equivalent (G.E.D.) and three or more years of work experience are acceptable. Bachelor's degree in Mental Health, Social Services, or Business Preferred Knowledge of social work practices with high-risk populations.
Experience:
Experience working with people with severe mental illness, providing social services, and knowledge of community outreach. Excellent Documentation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with crisis intervention and coordinating external service. Ability to motivate and establish rapport with at-risk youth, transitional youth, and adults.
