  • for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on middle school students by providing social work services, collaborating with educators, and supporting student success in both academic and behavioral settings.
  • Position Overview
  • The School Social Worker collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to support students requiring social work intervention and services within the school setting.
Responsibilities include participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Health Plans (IHPs) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing student support, and helping students achieve their educational and social-emotional goals.

Middle School + Potential travel between East and West campuses (to be confirmed) + Client interview required prior to placement + School-appropriate dress code
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Provide direct social work services to students in a school setting + Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, and related service providers + Participate in IEP and IHP planning and implementation + Support students experiencing social, emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges + Assist in connecting students and families with community resources + Maintain professional documentation and communication with school staff and families •Qualifications•+ Professional Educator License with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement, as required by state, contract, and/or facility + MSW or LCSW may be required based on state or district requirements + Compliance with all applicable professional standards of practice + Current CPR certification, if required + Current TB screening, if required + Current health certificate, if required by state or contract + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age •School Environment•+ Middle school setting +
