We are seeking a dedicated social worker for a full-time, on-site role supporting students with a range of needs, including mild to moderate, affective, and significant support requirements. This high school position offers the flexibility for candidates qualified as either a school social worker or psychologist. Your primary focus will be delivering tailored mental health services to students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The selected professional will work closely with special education (SPED) teams and become an invaluable resource for both students and staff.

Qualifications:

Valid Colorado Department of Education Special Services License with School Counselor Endorsement Experience working within special education settings (SPED experience highly preferred) Strong background in providing school-based mental health services Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and faculty Flexibility with credentialing and readiness to complete district contract paperwork promptly

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct mental health and counseling services for high school students Manage a varied caseload supporting students' affective and significant needs as outlined in their IEPs Collaborate with educators and SPED professionals to develop and implement support strategies Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized student planning Serve as a go-to resource for crisis intervention and ongoing prevention initiatives
