Job Description

Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding position supporting high school students as a Social Worker for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time contract role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of young people, helping them succeed both academically and personally.
Key Qualifications:
Current, active Social Worker license in Colorado Experience as a school social worker or in a closely related educational setting Comfortable managing a high school student caseload Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, administrators, and families Compassion, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to student well-being
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and address student needs, providing both one-on-one and group support Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with school staff Connect students and families with appropriate community resources and services Facilitate social-emotional learning and promote positive mental health practices Contribute to school safety and crisis intervention as needed Document cases and maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with district and legal guidelines This role provides the chance to work in a supportive secondary school environment, where your expertise will help shape students' academic journeys and personal growth.
