Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Advance your career as a dedicated school social worker in the vibrant Colorado Springs area. This contract, full-time opportunity extends through the 2026-2027 school year and invites candidates ready to make a significant impact for K-12 students. With a manageable caseload of approximately 45 students supporting at least two schools, your expertise will be essential in guiding and encouraging young learners with diverse needs. Ideal candidates will bring the following: Valid or eligible to obtain a Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license Previous experience or training as a school social worker serving K-12 populations Knowledge of best practices for supporting students at varying ability levels Strong communication skills to establish clear expectations and support student achievement In this role, you will: Develop, implement, and manage services tailored to individual student needs, growth, and learning outcomes Adapt interventions to engage students across diverse backgrounds and interests Uphold supervision and safety for students throughout the school day Establish and communicate high standards, helping students build critical-thinking, problem-solving, and self-advocacy skills Follow established school policies and procedures related to student health, safety, welfare, and education This is an onsite-only opportunity, offering you the chance to collaborate closely with students and staff and see the impact of your work in real time.
